Synergy between Film posters, trailers and magazine covers

These media texts go hand-in-hand with eachother in order to promote the release of a new film. The movie poster will include visual elements and link them to the film, almost like telling the story of the film within the still frame. When related to the Magazine cover, usually you will find that they're is more text on the cover, which helps to further engage the storyline of the film. For example, perhaps the main character gets his right cheek cut during the film, the movie poster may show the main character with this cut, and the magazine cover may show this picture with a caption that might say something along the lines of ''We thought we were safe...'', you can see how the synergy between these media texts compliment eachother as now the consumers will be curious as to how he got that cut? why werent they safe? who did this too him? etc.
